Beides funktioniert gleich, läuft aber getrennt. Race Control ist für alles gedacht, was die Rennleitung entscheidet – Vorfälle, Proteste, Einsprüche. Es kann die Rennleitung anpingen und beteiligte Fahrer direkt in den Kanal holen. Allgemeiner Support passt besser ins Ticket-System. Eine Gegenüberstellung steht in der Übersicht.

Am einfachsten über das Formular: Nimm ein User Select Menu wie „Beteiligter Fahrer“ und setze den Haken „Ausgewählte Nutzer zum Kanal hinzufügen“. Dann bekommt der ausgewählte Fahrer beim Öffnen Zugang. Nachträglich geht es nur von Hand: Rechtsklick auf den RC-Kanal → „Kanal bearbeiten“ → „Berechtigungen“ → Mitglied hinzufügen und „Kanal ansehen“ sowie „Nachrichten senden“ erlauben. Nein. Schließen dürfen nur Rollen mit dem Haken „Race Controls schließen“ und – wenn eingeschaltet – der Ersteller. Beteiligte aus dem Formular können lesen und schreiben, mehr nicht.

Die Option „Moderatoren beim Öffnen erwähnen“ in Schritt 2 ist standardmäßig an. Dann erwähnt der Bot alle zuständigen Rollen aus Schritt 5. Schalte die Option ab, wenn niemand gepingt werden soll, oder begrenze den Ping mit „Spezifische Interaktionen“ auf die passenden Buttons. Mehr unter Wer beim Öffnen gepingt wird.

Die Beschriftung ist irreführend: Der Bot verschickt die Direktnachricht „🏁 Race Control erstellt“ beim Öffnen, mit einem Link zum RC-Kanal. Beim Schließen gibt es keine Direktnachricht.

Lösche die alte Nachricht in Discord, öffne das Panel im Editor und klicke in Schritt 6 auf „Panel speichern“. Der Bot postet die Nachricht neu. Willst du das Panel in einen anderen Kanal verschieben, wähle in Schritt 2 den neuen Kanal und speichere – die alte Nachricht wird dabei entfernt.

Änderungen gelten erst nach „Panel speichern“ in Schritt 6. Bereits offene RCs behalten ihre Willkommensnachricht; neue Einstellungen wirken ab dem nächsten RC.

Das hängt vom Tarif ab: Free und Lite 1, Premium 3, Plus 5, Lifetime und Lifetime+ 100 Race-Control-Panels. Die Zahl der RCs und der Transcripts ist derzeit in keinem Tarif begrenzt. Ist die Grenze erreicht, lösche ein Panel, das du nicht mehr brauchst, oder wechsle in einen größeren Tarif. Oft reicht auch ein Panel mit mehreren Buttons – siehe Wie viele Panels sind möglich?

Nein. Beim Schließen wird der Kanal gelöscht. Der Verlauf bleibt als Transcript im Dashboard erhalten; bei Bedarf öffnet der Fahrer ein neues RC, etwa über „Strafe anfechten“.

Über die Kanal-Berechtigungen des Panel-Kanals in Discord: Wer den Kanal nicht sieht, kann auch nicht klicken. So kannst du zum Beispiel nur Mitgliedern mit der Rolle „Fahrer“ das Melden erlauben. Die Rollen im Editor bestimmen nur, wer die RCs bearbeitet.

Schließen und Übernehmen dürfen nur Rollen, die im Panel eingetragen sind und den passenden Haken haben. Trage deine Admin-Rolle in Schritt 5 ein und setze „Race Controls schließen“ und „Race Controls claimen“.

Im Kanalnamen steht {option}, das RC wurde aber über einen Button geöffnet. {option} wird nur bei einem Auswahlmenü befüllt, bei Buttons bleibt es leer. Nimm es aus dem Muster in Schritt 2 heraus oder nutze ein Auswahlmenü.

Der Bot erlaubt in Kanalnamen nur a–z, 0–9 und den Bindestrich; alles andere wird zu „-“. Details unter Variablen für den Kanalnamen.

{date} nutzt die Weltzeit (UTC). Kurz nach Mitternacht deutscher Zeit ist dort noch der Vortag.

Discord merkt sich die zuletzt gewählte Option. Wer sie noch einmal wählen will, lädt Discord neu (Strg + R). Eine andere Option zu wählen, öffnet dagegen sofort ein RC für diese Option. Prüfe außerdem das Race Control Limit.

Das passiert, wenn du über das „+“ eines Containers das Auswahlmenü geöffnet und ohne Auswahl wieder geschlossen hast. Füge über das „+“ eine Komponente hinzu und lösche sie wieder – oder speichere und lade die Seite neu.

Öffne die Action Row im Container einmal mit dem Stift und klicke „Übernehmen“. Danach erscheinen die Buttons als Interaktionen, und Schritt 6 meldet nicht mehr „Keine Buttons gefunden“.

Nein. RCs bleiben offen, bis jemand sie mit „🔒 RC schließen“ beendet.

Die Kanäle bleiben, ihre Buttons funktionieren aber nicht mehr, und die Transcripts des Panels sind im Dashboard nur noch über einen vorher gespeicherten Link erreichbar. Schließe deshalb vorher alle RCs. Mehr unter Ein Panel löschen.

Both work the same way but run separately. Race control is meant for anything your stewards decide – incidents, protests, appeals. It can ping your stewards and bring the drivers involved straight into the channel. General support fits better into the ticket system. You find a comparison in the overview.

The easiest way is the form: use a User Select Menu such as “Driver involved” and tick “Add selected users to the channel”. The chosen driver then gets access when the RC is opened. Later it only works by hand: right-click the RC channel → “Edit Channel” → “Permissions” → add the member and allow “View Channel” and “Send Messages”. No. Only roles with “Close Race Controls” ticked and – if switched on – the creator may close. Drivers involved from the form can read and write, nothing more.

The option “Mention moderators on open” in step 2 is on by default. Then the bot mentions every responsible role from step 5. Switch the option off if nobody should be pinged, or limit the ping to the right buttons with “Specific Interactions”. More under Who gets pinged when an RC is opened.

The label is misleading: the bot sends the direct message “🏁 Race Control Created” when the RC is opened, with a link to the RC channel. There is no direct message when an RC is closed.

Delete the old message in Discord, open the panel in the editor and click “Save Panel” in step 6. The bot posts the message again. To move the panel to another channel, pick the new channel in step 2 and save – the old message is removed.

Changes only apply after “Save Panel” in step 6. RCs that are already open keep their welcome message; new settings apply from the next RC on.

That depends on your plan: Free and Lite 1, Premium 3, Plus 5, Lifetime and Lifetime+ 100 race control panels. The number of RCs and transcripts is currently not limited in any plan. If you reach the limit, delete a panel you no longer need or switch to a bigger plan. Often one panel with several buttons is enough – see How many panels can I have?

No. The channel is deleted when the RC is closed. The conversation stays in the dashboard as a transcript; if needed, the driver opens a new RC, for example with “Appeal a penalty”.

With the channel permissions of the panel channel in Discord: whoever cannot see the channel cannot click. For example, you can allow only members with the “Driver” role to report. The roles in the editor only decide who handles the RCs.

Only roles that are added to the panel and have the matching tick may close and claim. Add your admin role in step 5 and tick “Close Race Controls” and “Claim Race Controls”.

The channel name contains {option}, but the RC was opened with a button. {option} is only filled for a select menu; with buttons it stays empty. Remove it from the pattern in step 2 or use a select menu.

The bot only allows a–z, 0–9 and the hyphen in channel names; everything else becomes “-”. Details under Variables for the channel name.

{date} uses UTC. Right after midnight in Central Europe it is still the previous day there.

Discord remembers the last chosen option. To pick it again, the driver reloads Discord (Ctrl + R). Choosing another option instead immediately opens an RC for that option. Also check the race control limit.

This happens if you opened the selection menu with the “+” of a container and closed it without choosing anything. Add a component with the “+” and delete it again – or save and reload the page.

Open the Action Row inside the container once with the pencil and click “Apply”. After that the buttons appear as interactions, and step 6 no longer reports “No buttons found”.

No. RCs stay open until someone closes them with “🔒 Close RC”.

The channels stay, but their buttons stop working, and the panel's transcripts can then only be reached in the dashboard through a previously saved link. So close all RCs first. More under Deleting a panel.
